Hello from January Blues to Blossom

Hello – FROM January Blues TO Blossom

Dear Secret Agents,

Hello from January Blues. Scrap that. Beat the blues. Hello from from January Blossom. You know how you can’t get away from Adele’s Hello song these days? Well, our secret agent Miss Fischer has taken it to another level. She’s appeared again in Brighton, singing the new version of Hello, at the Brighton Bandstand. We are worried. We are really worried…

Hello, it’s my colours
I was wondering if after all this January Blues you’d like to see
My blue colours and everything
They say that colours are supposed to heal ya
But I ain’t done much healing.

Hello, can you colour me?
I’m in Brighton dreaming about colours we used to see
When we were colourful and free
I’ve forgotten how it felt before the world fell at my colours!

There’s such a difference between us
And a million colours

Hello from the other colours
I must have painted a thousand times
To show you I’m NOT sorry for everything that I’ve coloured
But when I call you never seem to be colourful

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I’ve tried
To tell you I’m NOT sorry for colouring your life
But it don’t matter. It clearly doesn’t tear you apart anymore

Hello, how are you?
It’s so typical of me to talk about my colours. I’m sorry
I hope that you’re colourful too
Did you ever make it out of that life where nothing colourful ever happened?

It’s no secret that January is running out of Blues
And straight into Blossom.

Blossom Collection Wolf and Whistle
This post is a collaboration with the London based brand Wolf & Whistle, known for their womanly vintage tea dress designs. Shooting on Brighton beach in January is very windy, so I couldn’t control the Blossom Print Tea dress from floating. Check out their Blossom Print collection.

I am also matching the 50s style with  LUPITA shoes from the Australian design house PRESTON ZLY. Except that mine are with silver edges, instead of brown…you can select your own colours when buying. TRU2015 is a 20% discount coupon code that you can apply when shopping Lupita Medium shoes.

Lupita shoes come from the HOTEL SANTIAGO collection. It’s no surprise that I am fan of PRESTON ZLY designs, but this collection is particularly special. If you must now, I have kissed these shoes. I cannot wait till spring hence wearing them in winter. Socks with sandals and all that jazz. Lupita Medium is a stunning new style made on the super comfortable ‘Granny’ last. Featuring a diverse colour palette ranging from super bright to soft and pastel inspired by 1950’s fabric prints, with a strong Cuban heel and curvaceous platform, punched vamp and hand woven leather fish bone  detailing.
